Drake bay is one of the most untouched natural areas in the country with a great variety of flora and fauna. You can get here through water, air or ground. The best way to get is by air or boat (great trip) because the road is in bad conditions. Here you will find great accommodations, lots of activities but no shopping, nightlife or luxury.
Drake bay is your perfect destination if you are looking for natural beauty, wilderness, rainforests, lots of wildlife and nice people. It is a small town where you will find lots of things to do.
There are a lot of outdoor activities to do: kayaking, hiking, fantastic bird watching, scuba diving, fishing and a lot more to chose from. Also you can go to biological intense “Parque Nacional Corcovado” which has the tallest primary rainforest on the planet and is home of many endangered animal and bird species.
Communication is really limited; cell phones work just in certain places. Also remember to buy all your sunblock, first aid supplies, medication, and anything else you may need while you are here because this place is not that well stocked.
